JUVEDERM ULTRA 4 (2x1ml) – Allergan Laboratories

Juvederm Ultra is the only family of hyaluronic acid fillers approved by the U.S. FDA to correct moderate to severe wrinkles and folds for up to one year. Juvederm Ultra 4 is a filling product from the Juvéderm Ultra line developed by Allergan Laboratories. This range includes various gels that fight against aging by restoring volume to the skin.

This product is very effective in treating various wrinkles and imperfections of the face and represents a good alternative to surgery. Juvéderm Ultra 4 uses the patented HYLACROSS® technology and the 3D Matrix technology and is manufactured in Haute Savoie. The formulation of Juvederm Ultra 4 allows a soft consistency and a comfortable treatment.

Characteristics of Juvederm Ultra 4

• Juvéderm Ultra 4 gel restores volume to the areas where it is injected (cheekbones, chin, lips).
• Wrinkles are reduced, the contour of the lips, like the cheeks, is redesigned, and we find a gain in youth and volume.
• Juvederm Ultra 4 treats deep nasolabial folds.
• As it is not granular, Juvederm Ultra 4 has a soft, smooth, and natural consistency, which allows it to spread evenly and quickly on the skin.
• For a comfortable treatment, Juvéderm Ultra 4 contains lidocaine, a natural anesthetic.

Composition

This product consists of the following:

• Hyaluronic acid gel, 24 mg/ml (24% concentration).
• Lidocaine hydrochloride 3 mg/ml (0.3% Lidocaine).
• Phosphate buffer pH 7.2 q.s.p. 1 ml.
• It is supplied with 4 needles (27G1/2) and two pre-filled syringes of 1 ml.

Targeted areas of Juvederm Ultra 4

Juvéderm Ultra 4 is used on moderate facial wrinkles. This area includes deep nasolabial folds, the valley of tears, cheekbones, and chin augmentation.

This product is a medical device that must be administered only by a professional authorized to inject hyaluronic acid fillers. The injection can last less than 15 minutes

Injection technique: The injection is done with a fine needle in the deep part of the skin.

A comfortable treatment: The fluidity of the gel and the presence of lidocaine ensure a particularly comfortable treatment for the patient (3D Matrix Technology).

Duration of effectiveness: The effects of the injection are immediately visible. Their duration then depends on the age of the patient and the quantity injected. The effects of the Juvéderm ULTRA range can last up to 12 months.

Contra-indications

• Not suitable for minors, pregnant or breastfeeding women, and people with skin inflammation or an allergic background.
• Do not apply on areas with infections or skin inflammation.
• Avoid areas already treated with permanent fillers.
• Do not use Juvederm Ultra after laser treatment, deep chemical peeling, dermabrasion, or, in the case of superficial peeling, if there is a significant inflammatory reaction.
• Do not use in case of hypersensitivity reaction to hyaluronic acid, medical history of autoimmune diseases, and/or chronic streptococcal infections.
